Ontario Climbing Upgrades Forum With New Features
Dec 04, 2011
The team at OntarioClimbing.com has upgraded it’s popular forum to offer improved functionality and security. These upgrades allow the growing Ontario climbing community to continue to share information, experiences and opinions.
The upgrade required multiple days of work and was completed smoothly primarily due to the efforts of Patrick Lam, a long time forum member of OntarioClimbing.com. Lam is an assistant professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo and currently on a six-month sabbatical in Berkley, California.
OntarioClimbing.com was started by Gus Alexandropoulos as a way of creating a sense of community for Ontario climbers.
“I wanted a way for Ontario climbers to get psyched about our local climbing and I felt that a website and forum would help do this,” says Alexandropoulos.
