Major Access Victory for Halfway Dump Bouldering

The Ontario Access Coalition (OAC) scored a major victory with the re-opening of the bouldering at of bouldering at designated areas at Halfway Log Dump (HWLD) in Bruce Peninsula National Park. This access agreement is a result of years of negotiations with Bruce Peninsula National Park and culminated with the development of a Recreational Activity Assessment Process (RAAP). The area officially opens at noon on May 22 at the Crab boulder with a short orientation session presented by the OAC and Bruce Peninsula National Parks staff.
